Riding in Snow

The girls were waiting for a nice warm winter day with zero windchill to jump onto the backs of their horses.

And it's a good thing they did, because this is what the farmer's field looks like today.

You can bet there is a two inch thickness of mud out there.  Not suitable for riding.

Farm Girl loves riding bareback.

Oldest has been struggling with her lazy horse.

I'd get her another younger more energetic horse but truthfully am not sure if she's as invested into riding as Farm Girl.  She may switch horses with her younger sister for a little while to see if she prefers a horse with a little more gittyup.
