The Front Pasture

Our horse's pasture is about four acres and runs along the side of the property and then wraps around the front.  It is not flat.  A small glen runs down the center of it.  Here is Chase standing near the base of the glen with the house and barn behind him.

This is looking at him from the opposite direction.

The top  of the hill lays flat and runs high along the road below.

Here Chase ascends the far side of the glen heading for the flat area.  The front pasture can be seen behind him and beyond that you can see the driveway.

He`s actually  pointed westward where Sierra is standing and beyond Chase and to the right is the side pasture.  That little black spot just over his buttocks is Dreamer, our rebellious miniature horse.

I love photographing horses especially when you are able to capture an image like this one.  I took it looking up the glen to Chase with the tree-line behind him.  Love it.
