Tomato Suckers

I read this term for the first time today and had no idea what it was so looked it up.  Suckers are the little extra plant growth at the base of a tomato stem where it meets the main stem.

Pruning or pinching these stems are the terms used to remove them.  So run outside quickly right now like I did and pinch those suckers off your tomato plants so that they can grow nice and tall and straight and help to produce even more yumcious tomatoes.
